Travel itinerary of the IRCTC Sabarimala Package
The travel package by IRCTC is for 2 nights and 3 days, starting from the day you board your plane on. Here’s the complete itinerary of the tour:
Day 1
Hyderabad – Cochin – Sabarimala
Depending on the day of your departure, you’ll board the flight from Hyderabad Internation Airport and will reach the Cochin airport. Once you reach Cochin, you’ll be picked up from the airport for the journey further. You’ll get packed lunch on the way to the backwaters. Enjoy boating in the backwaters for 2 hours, and after that, you’ll proceed for darshan of the Vaikom Temple. After the darshans, you’ll proceed to Erumeli, where you’ll have your dinner and proceed again to Nilakkal/Pamba, where you’d be dropped for the darshan of Sabarimala.
Day 2
Sabarimala – Guruvayoor
You’ll have the early morning darshan of Sabarimala and once you’re done with that, you’ll be picked up again at 12:00 and you’ll proceed to Erumeli for lunch. After having lunch you’ll be traveling to Guruvayoor, where you’ll have your dinner and stay for the night.
Day 3
Guruvayoor – Cochin – Hyderabad
Have your darshans of the Guruvayoor Temple in the morning then have breakfast at 9:00 AM. After completing the breakfast, check-out from the hotel and you’ll be headed to Mammayur temple and the elephant camps. Then have lunch at Guruvayur and then you’ll be headed towards Cochin where you would catch your return flight and will be flown back to Hyderabad.
